THE COOLPOCKETS STORY
This is a documentary on the dancer/musician that is apart of American Urban Dance Pop Music Culture. If you were raised in the '80s and '90s then you have seen him without knowing him and he has had a direct impact on the trends and movements that have affected and changed the world as we know it today. His performances in music videos and in major motion pictures have directly affected generations of dancers.
Paul Guzman-Sanchez also is known as "COOLPOCKETS" (spelled as one word) is locked in stone in history books as a legendary dancer/musician/recording artist that has made history on MTV in the '80s and '90s and major motion pictures.
This documentary is a one of a kind in the world of music and dance covering a timeline from 1974 to present-day times with rare behind the scenes footage performing in music video's, TV, Movies, rehearsals, and home footage of Paul dancing never seen before. Paul Guzman-Sanchez is the American Dream come true coming from Reseda Ca. from a lower-income family to becoming the direct connection to major Music Stars in the recording industry to the clothing and dance trends that impacted the world.
This documentary will enlighten the world to his accomplishments and the impact that he has made and left on mainstream society the way we know it today.
The documentary started in 2016 is produced, directed, and co filmed with his son Brandon Guzman-Sanchez an experienced cameraman and edited by Paul Guzman-Sanchez

COOLPOCKETS is a legend in the street dance history from being the first to do the dance popping in a music video Rod Stewart Young Turks to dancing with Michael Jackson in Thriller and going on to becoming a 1985 Elektra Asylum Recording Artist and 1991 BMG Recording artist and is in The Rock N Roll Hall of Fame as an honorary inductee for American Urban Street Dance History. Now he is working on his own documentary. O.G. KOBRA from BooYaa Tribe is from the legendary West Coast Carson Samoan street dance group Blue City Strutters. Both legends in the dance!
