THE COOLPOCKETS® STORY
“In the shadows of American pop culture, a name quietly moved millions—Paul Guzman-Sanchez, later known as COOLPOCKETS®. Few knew his name, but his influence reverberated from the streets of ‘70s L.A. to the global spotlight. From his iconic dance in the movie Xanadu to his electrifying appearances in MTV music videos, he was a pioneer few recognized. He danced in Michael Jackson’s THRILLER, appeared in Rod Stewart’s Young Turks, and recorded with Elektra Asylum Records and BMG’s Zoo Entertainment. This documentary uncovers his journey—dancing in Xanadu, breaking ground in MTV videos, and shaping a legacy once hidden, now unforgettable.”
